Research reporting

State the research question, theoretical basis, design, sampling, measures and analysis transparently. Report effect sizes, uncertainty, missing-data handling, exclusions, robustness checks and limitations where applicable.

Ethics and participant protection

Research involving human participants must identify ethics approval, informed consent, privacy safeguards and any justified waiver. Describe protections for children, vulnerable populations, sensitive data and clinical or community settings.

Data, materials and reproducibility

Include a Data, Materials and Code Availability Statement. Share instruments, protocols, de-identified data, code and analysis scripts in a stable repository where ethically and legally possible. Report preregistration or explain its absence.
