Gender and Society Review (GSR) is an English-language, quarterly, peer-reviewed, open-access journal for interdisciplinary scholarship on gender, sexuality, identity, power and social institutions.
GSR welcomes theoretically informed and methodologically transparent work from the social sciences, humanities, law, health, education, media and policy fields.

Gender and Society Review (GSR) is a quarterly, online-only, peer-reviewed journal for critical and empirical scholarship on gender, sexuality, identity, institutions and social change.
GSR publishes original research articles, reviews and theory articles, methods and research notes, policy and cultural analyses, case studies and short communications in feminist and gender theory, masculinities, queer and trans studies, intersectionality, family and kinship, work and economy, health, politics, law, media, education, migration and global social change.
Manuscripts should define concepts carefully, situate claims in social and historical context, report methods and interpretation transparently, respect participants' identities and agency, and address power, ethics, confidentiality and limitations. Articles are freely available under CC BY 4.0, with no submission fee or article processing charge.
