Journal of Engineering Dynamics (JED) is a quarterly, online-only, peer-reviewed journal for rigorous research on dynamic behaviour, design, analysis and control across engineering systems.

JED publishes original research articles, reviews, methods and instrumentation papers, computational and experimental studies, technical notes and short communications in mechanics, structures, vibrations, control, fluid and thermal systems, materials, manufacturing, robotics, transportation, energy and multidisciplinary engineering.

Manuscripts should define the engineering problem clearly, document assumptions and methods transparently, validate models or designs against suitable evidence, quantify uncertainty, and address safety, standards, limitations and reproducibility. Articles are freely available under CC BY 4.0, with no submission fee or article processing charge.
