Environmental Samples, Geospatial Data and Research Materials

Describe the origin, collection, handling, storage and identification of environmental samples. Report instrument calibration, laboratory controls, reference materials and relevant permits or chain-of-custody procedures.

Geospatial, remote-sensing and sensor data should include coordinate systems, spatial and temporal resolution, processing steps, quality checks and uncertainty. Generalize or restrict coordinates for threatened species, vulnerable habitats, sacred places or security-sensitive sites.
