Shodh Journal of Environmental Sustainability Review (ESR) is a quarterly, online-only, peer-reviewed journal for rigorous research on environmental systems, sustainability and evidence-based responses to environmental change.

ESR publishes original research articles, systematic and critical reviews, environmental monitoring and assessment studies, methods, models and data papers, policy and management analyses, case studies, research notes and short communications.

Manuscripts should define the environmental problem and study boundaries clearly, report field, laboratory and analytical methods transparently, quantify uncertainty, distinguish evidence from advocacy, and address ecological, social and policy implications without overstating generalizability. Articles are freely available under CC BY 4.0, with no submission fee or article processing charge.
