Sources, Translations, Images and Permissions

Identify manuscripts, printed sources, maps, photographs, artworks, objects, recordings and archival documents accurately. Provide repository, collection, series, file, folio, shelf-mark or stable identifier information where available.

Authors must obtain permission for protected material not covered by a lawful exception or compatible licence. Identify editions and translators. Mark the author's own translations and describe any substantive modernization, normalization, redaction or reconstruction.
