Artworks, Images and Permissions

Identify artworks, photographs, archival records, designs and digital images accurately. Authors must obtain permission for protected material not covered by a lawful exception or compatible licence.

Captions should include creator, title, date, medium, dimensions, collection or location, photographer and rights statement where relevant. Cropping, colour adjustment, reconstruction and composite imagery must not mislead and should be disclosed.
