Privacy Statement

Philosophy and Human Thought (PHT) respects the privacy of authors, reviewers, editors, readers, research participants and registered users. The journal collects only the information needed to manage submissions, peer review, publication, security and the scholarly record.

Participants and sensitive material

Authors using interviews, surveys, experiments, classroom work, case material or personal correspondence must protect privacy and comply with consent, ethics and access requirements. Examples concerning vulnerable people or communities should avoid unnecessary identifying detail and stereotyping.

Sharing and retention

PHT does not sell personal information. Limited data may be processed by services needed for hosting, DOI registration, indexing, preservation, email and security. Editorial records may be retained to document decisions and protect research integrity.
