About the Journal

International Journal of Botanical Sciences (IJBS) is an English-language, online-only, quarterly, peer-reviewed and open-access journal covering the plant sciences.

IJBS publishes experimental, field, taxonomic, evolutionary and computational work in plant systematics, morphology, anatomy, physiology, ecology, genetics, ethnobotany, conservation and related botanical disciplines.

Submissions should identify plant material precisely, report methods and controls clearly, follow accepted nomenclatural practice, address collection and access requirements, and support conclusions with appropriate evidence. Published articles are available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence.

IJBS uses Open Journal Systems (OJS) for submission and editorial management.

IJBS is published quarterly in March, June, September and December by Shodh Publishing, Piri Bazar, District Lakhisarai, Bihar 811112, India.

IJBS charges authors no submission fee, article processing charge (APC), page charge, colour charge or publication fee.
