About the Journal

Shodh Journal of Geographical Studies (JGS) is an English-language, quarterly, peer-reviewed, open-access journal for research on places, environments, societies and spatial relationships.

JGS welcomes human, physical, regional and applied geographical research, including GIS, remote sensing, cartography, spatial analysis, fieldwork, planning, development, population, mobility, hazards, landscapes and human-environment relations.

JGS uses Open Journal Systems (OJS) for submission and editorial management.

JGS is published quarterly in March, June, September and December by Shodh Publishing, Piri Bazar, District Lakhisarai, Bihar 811112, India.

JGS charges authors no submission fee, article processing charge (APC), page charge, colour charge or publication fee.
