Authorship and Contributions

Authorship is reserved for people who made a substantial contribution to the conception, research, creative method, analysis or interpretation of the work; helped draft or critically revise it; approved the submitted version; and accept responsibility for it.

Artists, performers, translators, curators, designers, photographers, community partners, archivists and others should be credited according to their actual contribution. Participation in a creative work does not automatically establish authorship of a research paper, and ghost or honorary authorship is not permitted.

The title page should state each author's contribution. Changes to authorship after submission require a written explanation and agreement from all affected authors.
