Creative Arts and Cultural Studies (CACS) is a quarterly, online-only, peer-reviewed journal for research and critical inquiry across the arts and cultural fields.

The journal publishes original research articles, review articles, practice-research papers, critical essays, case studies and short communications in visual and performing arts, literature, film and media, music, design, cultural heritage, museum and curatorial studies, folklore, digital culture and interdisciplinary cultural research.

Manuscripts should present a clear question or creative inquiry, explain their critical or practice-based method, document the material examined and show why the contribution matters beyond an individual work or event. Published articles are freely available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence. CACS does not charge submission fees or article processing charges.
