Submissions to GAR must be original and must acknowledge all material derived from other sources.
Authors must cite ideas, text, data, images, methods and other material taken from previous work. Substantial reuse from an author's own publications must be disclosed and cited. A manuscript must not be under review elsewhere or duplicate a publication without a legitimate, transparent reason.
GAR may use editorial checks and legitimate similarity-detection tools before or during review. GAR does not currently claim use of a named commercial service. A similarity percentage is not proof of plagiarism; matched sources and context must be examined by an editor.
GAR follows the applicable University Grants Commission (UGC) regulations and guidance concerning academic integrity and the prevention of plagiarism. Each similarity report is assessed by an editor in context; a numerical similarity score alone does not determine plagiarism.
Minor citation or quotation problems may require correction. Confirmed plagiarism, substantial unattributed copying, deceptive duplicate publication, fabricated citations or misuse of data or images may lead to rejection. Concerns found after publication may result in a correction, expression of concern or retraction after an evidence-based assessment.
Specific concerns may be reported to info@shodhpublishing.com with the affected work and supporting evidence.
