Publication Ethics

GBPRR expects honest reporting, independent analysis, fair attribution and responsible treatment of participants, organisations and the public record.

Author responsibilities

Authors must submit original work, represent sources and methods accurately, disclose funding, organisational relationships and competing interests, obtain required consent, and correct significant errors. Fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, undisclosed sponsored advocacy and deceptive presentation are unacceptable.

Editors and reviewers

Editors assess manuscripts on scholarly merit and relevance. Reviewers must provide constructive, confidential and unbiased advice and disclose conflicts.

Concerns

Credible concerns are assessed using the manuscript record, underlying evidence and responses from affected parties. The journal may publish a correction, expression of concern or retraction when needed.
