Sources, Corporate Material and Permissions

Authors must have the right to quote, reproduce and analyse corporate documents, advertisements, campaign material, photographs, logos, social-media content and other third-party sources.

Identification and context

Identify the creator, organisation, date, platform, campaign and source where relevant. Archived or deleted online material should be documented sufficiently for assessment without exposing private individuals.

Permissions

Obtain written permission when reuse is not already allowed by law or licence. Trademark appearance in a scholarly article does not imply endorsement.

Media integrity

Editing must not misrepresent documents or campaign material. Composite, reconstructed, staged or AI-generated media must be labelled clearly.
