Heritage and Archaeological Discoveries (HAD) is a quarterly, online-only, peer-reviewed journal for archaeology, archaeological science and cultural-heritage research.

The journal publishes original research articles, review articles, field or project reports, methods papers and short communications on sites, landscapes, objects, collections, conservation, archaeometry, digital archaeology and community heritage.

Manuscripts should document context, provenance, permissions and methods clearly, and explain why the findings matter beyond the individual site or collection. Published articles are freely available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence. HAD does not charge submission fees or article processing charges.
