World Literature Review (WLR) respects the privacy of authors, reviewers, editors, readers, research participants and registered users. The journal may collect names, affiliations, contact details, ORCID iDs, account information, submission and review records, correspondence and technical logs needed to operate and secure the journal.
Information is used to manage editorial work, publish accepted articles and metadata, maintain the scholarly record and meet ethical or legal obligations. Access to non-public material is limited to authorized people who require it for journal operations.
Authors must remove personal or sensitive information that they are not authorized to publish. Private correspondence, oral histories, personal archives, participant information and culturally restricted materials must be handled according to consent, ethics, archival rules, community protocols and applicable law.
WLR does not sell personal information. Limited data may be processed by hosting, DOI, indexing, preservation, email or security services required to run the journal. Editorial records may be retained to document decisions and preserve research integrity. Privacy questions should be sent to the official contact address.
