The policies listed here explain how WLR handles submissions, peer review, research ethics, access, copyright and changes to the published record. They apply to authors, reviewers, editors and the publisher.

Literary scholarship may involve copyrighted texts, translations, images, manuscripts, archives, private correspondence, oral testimony and culturally restricted knowledge. Authors must follow relevant copyright, privacy, consent, archival, community and legal requirements.
