Authors retain copyright in work published by MPAR and grant the journal the non-exclusive rights needed to publish, distribute and preserve the version of record.

Unless a different notice appears on an article, MPAR uses the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0).

Creative and third-party material

Authors must obtain permission for artworks, photographs, literary extracts, scores, scripts, recordings, film stills, archival documents and other third-party material when use is not already permitted. The article licence does not remove a separate copyright, performer, moral, cultural or custodial restriction identified in a caption or credit line.

Author sharing

Authors may deposit submitted, accepted and published versions in lawful repositories or academic websites. The published version should include its complete citation and a link to the journal record.
