Music and Performing Arts Review (MPAR) respects the privacy of authors, reviewers, editors, readers, performers, participants and registered users. The journal may collect names, affiliations, contact details, ORCID iDs, account information, submission and review records, correspondence and technical logs needed to operate and secure the journal.
Information is used to manage editorial work, publish accepted articles and metadata, maintain the scholarly record and meet ethical or legal obligations. Access to non-public material is limited to authorized people who require it for journal operations.
Authors must remove personal, sensitive or culturally restricted information that they are not authorized to publish. Interviews, rehearsal records, photographs, recordings, audience data and community knowledge must be handled according to consent, ethics, performer rights, cultural protocols and applicable law.
MPAR does not sell personal information. Limited data may be processed by hosting, DOI, indexing, preservation, email or security services required to run the journal. Editorial records may be retained to document decisions and preserve research integrity.
