Authorship and Contributions

Authorship is reserved for people who made a substantial contribution to the conception, design, evidence, analysis or interpretation of the work; helped draft or critically revise it; approved the submitted version; and accept responsibility for it.

Architects, engineers, consultants, clients, community partners, photographers, data analysts and others should be credited according to their actual contribution. Professional project credit does not automatically establish authorship of a research paper, and ghost or honorary authorship is not permitted.

The title page should state each author's contribution. Changes to authorship after submission require a written explanation and agreement from all affected authors.
