Global Agricultural Innovations (GAI) respects author rights and supports lawful reuse of scholarly work. Authors retain copyright while granting GAI the non-exclusive rights required to publish, distribute, archive, preserve and identify the version of record.
Authors retain copyright in articles published by GAI unless a different ownership arrangement is required by law or an employer and is disclosed before publication.
On acceptance, authors grant GAI a non-exclusive licence to publish and communicate the article, produce and preserve the version of record, distribute metadata and maintain corrections or retraction notices.
Unless an article states otherwise, GAI publishes articles under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This permits copying, redistribution and adaptation, including commercial reuse, provided appropriate credit is given, the licence is linked and changes are indicated.
Authors may share the submitted, accepted and published versions in lawful repositories and academic websites. The published version should include its complete citation and a link to the journal record.
Authors are responsible for identifying third-party content and obtaining written permission when its intended use is not covered by law or the applicable licence. Credits and restrictions must be clearly stated.
Users may reuse GAI content according to the licence displayed on the article. Attribution should identify the author, article title, journal, year and persistent link or DOI where available.
Credible allegations will be assessed promptly. GAI may request evidence, notify affected parties and publish a correction, remove infringing material where legally necessary or retract the article while preserving an appropriate record.
Changes to this policy apply prospectively. The licence displayed on an already published article will continue to govern that version unless a lawful correction is required.
