About the Journal

Global Agricultural Innovations (GAI) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal for research that improves agricultural knowledge, practice, technology and resilience. The journal connects fundamental discovery with field application and welcomes work relevant to farms, laboratories, landscapes, supply chains and rural communities.

Journal Focus

GAI publishes original research, reviews, short communications and methods or technical articles across crop production, agronomy, soil science, irrigation and water management, horticulture, plant breeding and genetics, crop protection, agricultural microbiology, biotechnology, agricultural engineering, digital and precision agriculture, postharvest systems, agroecology, climate-smart agriculture and related policy or socioeconomic research with a clear agricultural contribution.

Quality and Research Integrity

Submissions are assessed for relevance, originality, methodological quality, ethical compliance, transparent reporting and the strength of their conclusions. Authors must describe methods and analysis sufficiently for evaluation, disclose funding and competing interests, obtain required approvals and permits, and report data honestly. Fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, duplicate publication and manipulated peer review are not accepted.

Peer Review

Research and review manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review. Editorial decisions are based on scientific merit, relevance, integrity and clarity. Editors and reviewers must protect confidentiality, disclose conflicts of interest and provide fair, constructive assessment.

Open Access

GAI provides immediate open access to published content. Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0), allowing sharing and adaptation with appropriate attribution.
