INAUGURAL VOLUME
Global Agricultural Innovations (GAI) welcomes original, clearly written and ethically conducted work that advances agricultural science, technology or practice.
The manuscript must be original, must not be under consideration elsewhere and must be approved by every listed author. Authors are responsible for permissions covering third-party figures, tables, datasets or substantial text.
Upload a separate title page containing author details and an anonymized main manuscript without names, affiliations, acknowledgements or identifying file properties.
The main file should normally contain the title, abstract, 4–8 keywords, introduction, materials and methods, results, discussion, conclusions, declarations, references, tables and figure legends. Use the structure most appropriate to the article type.
Authors must report all institutional approvals, field-access permissions, collection permits, biosafety authorizations and regulatory permissions relevant to the work. Research involving people, personal information or traditional knowledge requires appropriate ethics review and consent. Studies involving genetically modified organisms, regulated pests, pathogens, pesticides or protected species must comply with applicable law and containment requirements.
Include a Data Availability Statement. Deposit data, code and protocols in a suitable repository when legal, ethical, commercial and biosecurity conditions permit. Restrictions must be explained.
Authorship is limited to substantial contributors who approve the final work and accept accountability. Use of generative AI must be disclosed when material; AI tools cannot be authors. State all funding and competing interests.
Number figures and tables in citation order, supply clear legends and units, and avoid image manipulation that changes interpretation. References must be accurate and consistently formatted, with DOI or stable URL where available.
Editors screen submissions for scope, completeness, originality, ethics and reporting. Suitable manuscripts are normally reviewed by at least two independent experts. Revision requests must be answered point by point. Acceptance is not guaranteed and is independent of fees or commercial interests.
Submissions are Open.

Access to non-public information is limited to authorized persons who require it for journal operations, ethical assessment, technical support or legal compliance.
Submission files, reviewer reports and editorial communications are confidential. Reviewer identity is protected according to GAI double-blind review procedures, subject to ethical investigation or legal requirements.
Author names, affiliations, ORCID iDs, correspondence details supplied for publication and article metadata may form part of the permanent public scholarly record.
GAI does not sell personal information. Limited data may be processed by hosting, preservation, indexing, DOI, email, analytics or technical service providers where required for journal operation. External services have their own privacy practices.

Editorial and publication records may be retained for as long as necessary to document decisions, prevent misconduct and preserve the scholarly record. Account information that is no longer required may be corrected, restricted or removed where operational and legal obligations permit.
Users may contact the editorial office to request access to or correction of their personal information. Requests affecting published authorship, peer-review integrity or the permanent scholarly record will be assessed carefully rather than applied automatically.
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards will be used, including access controls, software maintenance and backups. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Updates will be posted on this page. Privacy questions should be directed to the official GAI editorial-office contact published on the Contact page.
